ASGS Audio Visual Committee

Since 1983, the ASGS has been video taping the workshops at each annual symposia. These workshops highlight everything from general operations in the glass shop to unique tricks and techniques of specialized glass operations. These video tapes (all VHS) are available to ASGS members only for free rental. (There are some incidental charges to the member(s) for postage and insurance, more for members outside the USA and Canada.)

These tapes are available to any member of the ASGS, ASGS section, or educational institution within the United States and Canada on a free showing basis. Postage and insurance for such showing will be paid to the destination by the ASGS. Return postage and insurance must be paid by the tape user.

If the tapes are sent to ASGS members outside the United States and Canada, the recipient must pay all postage, handling and< insurance cost. Said cost from the ASGS to the tape user must be prepaid to the ASGS. In addition, foreign request must include a written agreement that states the tape user will pay for any tapes lost or destroyed in any manner not covered by insurance.

Any film not returned within 30 days of the show date will be considered lost or destroyed. Each tape must be insured during shipment from or to the ASGS.

The audio visual chair may require a written agreement as mentioned above, from any tape user.

Request for tapes should be send the address below.

Users of the tapes are requested to notify The Audio Video Committee Chair of any damaged areas in the tapes when they are being returned to the following address.
