Section awards are the responsibility of the awarding individual sections, not the Awards Committee. The sections who decide these awards are encouraged to inform the Awards Committee so that the Committee may track and record these various recognitions of ASGS members. These awards are not necessarily awarded on a yearly basis. Awards may be presented either at the following symposium (at the end of the business meeting or during the awards banquet) or at the local section meeting. |
