Regular Member Glassblowing Seminars
The Regular Member Glassblowing Seminars Committee provide hands-on instruction in all aspects of scientific glassblowing.
These seminars are held at the annual ASGS Symposium. The curriculum presented is based on requests submitted by Regular
Members. These Seminars are an opportunity to work with, and alongside of, glassblowers who are not only knowledgeable but
also willing and eager to share their expertise.
The continued goal of the Regular Member Glassblowing Seminars is to provide true hands-on instruction in all aspects of scientific
glassblowing. The curriculum presented is based on requests submitted by Regular Members. The seminars are held at the annual
ASGS Symposium on two consecutive days and are open to Regular Members of the ASGS. Since these are individual seminars,
it is possible to sign up for one day or for both days. Either seminar is filled on a first-paid basis. These Seminars are an
opportunity for Regular Members to work with (and alongside of) glassblowers who are not only knowledgeable but also willing and
eager to share their expertise. It is only by learning that we can advance in our profession.
