The Materials section will include information regarding material specifications, tolerances, and availability of glass tubing, rod, and flat stock. We are in the process of compiling information from many OEM manufacturers and technical resources. Additionally, information about common sealing metals, ceramics, adhesives, and high temperature materials will be included. Coming Soon!!

Joe Walas of East Carolina University has provided the following descriptions of common connectors and valves used in fabricating scientific glass apparatus.
