PRESIDENTS MESSAGE |

| Greetings and welcome to the 53rd ASGS Annual Symposium. This year the conference travels to Atlantic City, New Jersey. Symposium Chair Dave Surdam and his committee have spent the last year putting together a solid program. |
| There will something for everyone; you will have the opportunity to attend the seminars, technical papers or workshops of your choice. You may also choose to compare notes, ask questions, learn of new equipment or tools or just give or gain advice. The opportunity to renew old friendships, meet new people and establish new friendships is one of my favorite activities. |
| The opportunity to attend the Symposium only takes place once a year so make your plans early. I look forward to seeing all of you in Atlantic City in June. |
