2006 ASGS SYMPOSIUM |

PRESIDENTS MESSAGE |

| One of the greatest opportunities we have as members of the ASGS is to attend the Annual Symposium. This year, the symposium will be in the Manhattan Beach area in Southern California. It has been many years since the Southern California section has hosted the symposium and we are anticipating this to be special event. Our symposium chair, Jim Merritt and his crew have dedicated countless hours to ensure that we will have an educational and interesting venue to attend. |
| Not only is the symposium an opportunity to attend educational seminars, workshops, view posters, and listen to great paper presenters; it is also an avenue to meet others in the glass community from different industries, parts of the country and even different parts of the world. It is also a chance to communicate with the vendors that support the society year after year. |
| I hope to see everyone at this year’s symposium. Plan to attend this great event! |
