ASGS Now Using Stripe for Membership Payments

We’re pleased to share that ASGS has transitioned from PayPal to Stripe as our new payment processor. Stripe provides a more streamlined, secure, and reliable payment experience for our members. If you are currently set up for auto-renewal, please log in to your ASGS member profile to review and update your payment information. While we anticipate that some PayPal auto-renewals may continue to process temporarily, we strongly encourage all members to confirm their details within the new Stripe system to avoid any interruption in membership. Call for Symposium Pictures

To all of you who attended and participated in the 2025 Symposium in Raleigh, this is a call for pictures of the meeting. People have, I believe, come to look forward to the section of the November Fusion which captures the annual symposium in pictures. Since the assembling of the November Fusion is already under way, this is a matter of some urgency. Klaus Paris covered the Banquet with the installation of Officers and the presentation of awards well, so that I have pictures of that part of the meeting. However, I have almost no pictures of the rest of the Symposium. Notably, pictures that I would love to have are of the Seminar presenters (with the exception of Lenorah Haight-Stott’s), the Allan B. Brown Seminars, the Joe Gregar Seminar, the paper presenters, the demonstrators and even the artistic auction. If you took pictures of any of these activities, could you please send them to me (brownam@metrocast.net) right away. Identification of the presenters or demonstrators in the pictures would be greatly appreciated. I am sure that you enjoyed the time you spent in Raleigh and would like to share your activities in a picture format with the rest of the members so they know what they missed. This section in Fusion also provides an historical compilation for future generations of scientific glassblowers to have. Thank you for helping out with this – looking forward to hearing from you, hopefully by the end of this weekend. Best, Marylin Marylin Brown, Editor brownam@metrocast.net
