  • Admission: $25 per person cash only (No $100’s please)
  • Swap Meet Table: $100 per table cash (tax deductible) to sell equipment. Tables can be shared.
  • Bring your own chair

10:00AM, Tim O’Brien discusses overall lathe maintenance, repair procedures, and preservation to include chucks, burners, valves and all related accessories . Bring your video camera to tape this very important information. Don’t be afraid to ask the “STUPID” questions. There are NO Stupid questions! A full tour of Litton’s remodeled shop and future plans are also on tap throughout the day where your industry input is always welcome.

12:00 noon lunch by a local hot dog /sausage cart. At this time we will do the “SUBA” raffle. You can buy tickets from Bruce for “CASH’, and if you win something that you will “never” use, please give it to someone who will use it. While it’s always great to win, it’s often better to give and make another person’s day better. Again bring “CASH” for raffle tickets… $10 & $20 dollar bills preferred. An ice cream kart will be there in the afternoon.

Litton Engineering will be selling goodies from the basement… Glass rods, apparatus, lathe parts & accessories.

We will have a “FREE“ table as well, so all of you that have TONS of extra glass blowing equipment that you will never
use, bring it for the “FREE” table and give it to the next kids that have nothing, while helping others to carry on our craft. For those of you flying, Litton will ship your bulky items to your facility via UPS, Fed-X etc… at the going rates.

Afternoon: flame and lathe working demos will be at Farlow’s shop with Ryan Fitt and others. Bring your GLASSBLOWING GLASSES.

Sunday: (Optional) Tim is a co-director of the railroad museum in Nevada City with plans to fire up two 1800’s-vintage steam locomotives for train rides, cab rides and museum tours.

Sadly, this will be my last ASGS meeting due to situations beyond my control, 30 years a member of ASGS and 15 years running meetings. By far the best thing | did for my career and life. The people, techniques and equipment have been priceless in my life’s journey and hopefully yours too!

Very important is to “RSVP” so we know how much food and drink to get. Don’t wait till the day before to tell me,
otherwise you starve. No one wants that to happen. “Text” me your RSVP and how many in your group (831) 458-3018
